In 1993, ALEJANDRO GARCES, founder of Mexico Trade Center Inc., conceived the idea of a permanent exposition called MEXICO TRADE CENTER which would showcase products from all regions of Mexico in one physical location. Food and beverage (including wine, beer and spirits), textiles, arts and crafts, agricultural produce and more.
In the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, the concept of MEXICO TRADE CENTER (MTC) became part of MEXCHAMBER's business stimulation program. MTC commences in 2021 with an online portal, showcasing Mexican products manufactured by small and large companies from Mexico with the capability of supplying samples and small batches of products to distributors and major retailers across the United States in days, not weeks.
MEXCHAMBER has set up strategic partnerships with other trade and business associations, chambers of commerce and private companies, to help promote exports between Mexico and the United States.
